Spamming Mail send by Zorpia

Share at Facebook

It seemed to me that Zorpia.com could be an exciting social networking site. But I found a really shocking, and terrible spamming experience from that fucking site.

I had an account at that site. Just invited my friends using contact importer under the condition "do not store passwords nor send spam messages". But you know. They lied to me, and all other users too. Since then, they just keep sending invitation to my contact list on behalf of me. But I was not sending, or asking zorpia to spam.

I have got lots of msgs from my friends to stop this. But you know I wasn't doing that. So i better terminate my account. But still I'm having same problem, do you know why? Few of my friends did same as me, and zorpia now sending spam mail to me with a certain interval. Its really irritating.

The site is sucks. Not trusty, and violated the terms and condition as they are promised. You can't be a giant service provider like facebook or myspace with such kind of lower level mind set. have to be big hearted zorpia. You are really a sucker. I appreciate Wikipidea that they didn't listed you so called zorpia.com. You'll never get listed as you are a shitty rat.

So readers, if you have a zorpia account just terminate that, and better chose facebook or myspace. They are trustworthy. If you don't believe me, just do what I did, and you'll find everything.

So friends keep yourself away from zorpia, a sucking social networking site.

I have the same problem, I tired to terminate my account, but cannot, because it ask for a password, what I don't remember. I sent mail to contact@zorpia.com to stop spamming, but nothing. I unchecked all "notify me..." options also. I will report them everywhere I can, to stop this spamming site.

Hi, I just got an invitation from Zorpia but having read this article, decided to block all future requests instead. Close call.

Thanks

zorpia.com appears to be hosted by turkeyinternet.net per Whois Lookup. I would therefore recommend everyone who feels they are being repeatedly spammed to send a complaint to turkeyinternet.net.

Zorpia keeps sending me emails just because a few of my friends went there.
Every day I get some fucktarded email going "THIS IS PRETTY INTRESTING"
Fucking annoying.

I too got sucked into Zorpia and cannot exit. They have some one taking charge of PC's and stealing their emails and sending invites to their whole contact database. Once you join thinking you are going to read the message from your friend, you find out they never posted a message for you and you are now locked into Zorpia with no way to exit. SPAM galore then rains down on you.

Guys,

I do not think they are sending spam intentionally. You know all social networking sites are spamming too. However, you guys could actually send a request or in the email they are sending there is this "Opt Out" link for you to remove your email address from receiving emails from this site. Also they have this Customer service that you could complaint or send an email to request your email to remove in their system.

There does not appear to be any way to Opt Out of these emails as the Opt Out option doesn't work. This is the worst kind of spam.

This is exactly what I went through. Your post helped me so much. Thanks.

I had the same spam (I love this, how about you?) from a name that conceivably a friend. I've become suspicious of any social sites that ask you to sign on with gmail/twitter/facebook identities, beacuase if you do, you potentially grant them access to your address book or list of friends.

My advice: do not use a social site with a third party logon id, unless its a nationally recognized brand with a good reputation.

Meanwhile, FaceBook, Twitter, GMail etc should offer these sites the ability to run an approved logo, maybe based on a Verisign type PKI certificate, so that at least you know they have agreed to use the best practices advised by these sites.

You should also complain to the website that hosts Zorpia's account as they supposedly have a zero tolerance spam policy.

Forward all emails (with headers) to abuse@turnkeyinternet.net

Also report them to their local BBB (turnkey internet) as well as fill out a ratepoint review (you can get to it from their site www.turnkeyinternet.net) that they are not followin their own terms of service and are allowing zorpia to send known spam from their servers. If enough people complain they may actually do something!

I also submitted a complaint about zorpia AND turnkey internet to the FTC at www.ftc.gov

I am also getting spammed cause my stupid friends have Zorpia, everyday I'm getting 3 emails from Zorpia

How does it help? What if turnkeyinternet turns out to be the original trouble maker?

Has anyone been successful in getting turnkeyinternet to stop the spamming and abuse of the email account? I am in a similar situation and want to find out how this abuse can be stopped. Tq

the last thing we can do is make a filter at the email setting. If "zorpia" words come with the mail, make it automaticly send to spam.

Did you try to change your E-Mail password?

I didn't have an account, but one of my friends made one, and it has started sending random messages to me. The exact same thing is happening to everyone else in my friends contact list. I have tried contacting turnkeyinternet, but they have done nothing. If they don't do anything in the next few weeks, I am going to send a complaint to the US federal Comunications Commission.

I received a message stateing I'd won 100000 USD for a random profile promotion reward of course they asked for all my information I didn't gve it but then . after a while they said all I had to do was claim it 2 options. .by there courier delivery or transfer...I replied by delivery as if was legate seems the safest way but then no reply...all theyou have is my email my username. .not my password as couldn't remember but is this still cause for identity theft..the claims officer name is Jason morgan has anyone received anythink simular to this..if so please share as I'm quite concerned I may have gven to much info and don't know what signs to look out for except when they ask for password for my Zorpia account and scan of photo ID is usually a red flag ..plus that nothink is gven for just joining a site especially sum as high as what they claimed I'd won..I was suckered in but once all that info was required alarm bells started ringing...and also what alerted me was that I was asked to calm down when I emailed the Zorpia Admin Team for asking to many questions or I'd be disqualified from the draw for doubting the legitimacy of the prize...very tricky these scammers on Zorpia are very good..of course I checked on Google once I was alerted to these flags and found lots of scam this scam that with Zorpiaprizeclaim@gmail.com. ..so be warned !!! I hope I'm safe from anythink further happening to what info they do have..fingers crossed.
